Brevard Public Schools has 7 District Strategic Project Teams whose task is to support the goals of the District's Strategic Plans.

The Learning Management System (LMS) to Support Instruction teams’ mission is to use the shared expertise of a group of cross-functional professionals to assist Brevard Public schools along the path of acquiring a comprehensive Learning Management System. This project has several driving forces in addition to being a component of the District’s Strategic Plan.

Legislation in Florida Statue 1006.281 – Learning Management Systems and as a participating district in Florida’s Race to the Top, states that each district shall provide access to a Learning Management System by 2014.
